The importance of money
Money is a key part of our lives, and the function of our society depends upon it. Some of us learn skills on how to manage our money, yet few of us have the opportunity to fully explore our relationship with it.
Without a mature and healthy relationship with money, we limit our ability to freely give, hold and receive. Our interaction with money is indicative of many other aspects of our lives.
Improving the relationship
Through a series of workshops, we will look at:
- The meaning you place on money.
- How your family and upbringing has influenced your view of money.
- How money is indicative of your ability to give and receive kindness, love and other things.
- What is stopping you from saving and spending in a free and fluid way.
- The dynamics of money with your partner, family and friends.
- The difficulty of discussing money in society.
About the workshops
The workshops will be facilitated by myself, having ten years of experience in the banking industry and property investment.
We will meet on a weekly basis in London. Over six evening workshops of two hours, we will look closely at what stops us from having a mature and healthy relationship with money. The workshops will provide a supportive environment for discussing money, something which is not easy in our culture.
To ensure that we are able to work in an atmosphere of trust and safety, the group will contain no more than 12 participants. Once we have started working together, new members will not be permitted to join the group.
Working with enquiry
This workshop will be based on the principles of action enquiry. Within a clear structure that builds progressively, we will be exploring questions about what shapes and governs your approach to money, and inviting you to take action between sessions which we will reflect on together. This powerful approach allows you to discover your own truths and break free of your current limiting patterns.
