Coaching is a partnership. You, as the client, are an active participant in the process. I, as the coach, will support and guide you at every point.
The most important part of being a client is that you have to want to be coached. Coaching will not work if you are doing it because someone else wants you to do it. This applies both in the work place, or at home. If you do not want to be coached, you will not be able to bring the conviction which is required to keep moving forward.
You need to be prepared to make a commitment. You will be committing time and money to yourself and investing in your future. Strength comes from growth which has been solid and steady.
You need to be honest, primarily with yourself. This is one of the most challenging aspects of coaching, and it does not need to be scary. We all hope the things which we don’t want to face will go away if we ignore them. They don’t, and like a heavy suitcase, they slow up our journey and constantly remind us that they are there. Coaching provides a supportive environment for handling these issues as they arise.
You have to take responsibility for your growth. I will help you to realise your potential. Only you can choose to make that potential a reality.
