I am regularly asked how I can prove that coaching adds value.
Of course, it is difficult to quantify this. How does one measure happiness, or our ability to work with the people around us, to connect with our family, or to live a life which feels complete? Even in organisations, how easy is it to measure the effectiveness of a team, or to gauge how the organisation is achieving its potential?
And so my answer is usually to suggest they try coaching for themselves, and decide whether they think it adds value.
I also suggest they consider other ways they might spend their money and their time in pursuit of realising their potential. Consider the cost of a weekend away to help you relax, and how stressed you feel again by Monday lunchtime. Consider the income you might lose by taking a sick day at work, because you can’t face another day in the office. Consider the cost of a team away-day, and how quickly the energy drops once you all get back to the office.
My fees for coaching vary based on the length of a session, duration of a contract, and the nature of our work together. Please contact me for further details.
